Renovation at Zografos

The apartment is located on the second floor of a 1960s building in the area of Zografos. The original structure of the condo was preserved, and emphasis was placed on the materiality and colour of the proposed solutions to maintain and emphasise the character of the house. The mosaics, wooden floors and wooden frames were preserved and repaired, while characteristic morphological elements were replaced. The result is a small house designed with a unified architectural vocabulary that incorporates the requirements of the new occupants by balancing new interventions with old elements. The architectural design started in June 2021, and the renovation was completed in October 2022.
