Poster | Where did my beauty go
The site-specific performance “Where did my beauty go” (“Πού έδυ μου το κάλλος”) takes place on the iron staircase leading to the war siren on Mount Lycabettus. It constitutes an attempt at dialogue between Lilí Zografou’s eponymous short story, the natural landscape, and the performer’s body. Utilizing the heroine’s memories, the unique meanings of the landscape, the sounds of the double bass, and a costume weaving a parallel narrative of the story, it creates a new work where romanticism and harshness alternate and coexist.
